a/c vents??

i wanna cover my dash wit tweed but first i wanna get rid of the a/c vents how 2 i do it?? do i just a peice of plastic out 2 fit it and use filler 2 fill it all then sand??? need Help and lots of detail kustompup93 reppin ruzzy!!
