I am new to the site and need some info. my question is will a standard cab pre taco gas tank fit sideways between a tacomas rear frame rails thanks for any and all info

i dont see why not. the gas tanks on the older trucks say from 89-95 will fit between their own frame rails. the tacos are a little wider so i dont see any problems size wise. you will have to cut out the crossmember back there that holds up the spare tire but thats gonna be peanuts compared to everything else.

thanks and thanks i might also have to add that the tank is coming out of a single cab long bed idk if that will make a difference

it will fit. regcab short bed tank will fit easier, but the long tank will fill in the frame nicely.
