Can't we all just get along.

I myself have been a minitrucker for quite some time now, and whenever I tell another "brother" my profession they always end the conversation or call me a "poser"......oh yeah...I'm a cop. Why is it that a larger majority of our fellow people simply don't like law enforcement?

Its resentment. Because when they get pulled over, they feel like they are being harassed, even though theres a 90% chance they were doing something illegal. I try not to give cops a reason to pull me over. And for the most part, I never get pulled over. But there are two certain towns I know to generally stay away from, because the cops are real hard asses when it comes to anything custom that isn't a 69 Camaro.

Nah they're hard on that as well in those areas. I grew up on a 4x4 fab shop, and cops carry tape measures to make sure you are legal.

i dont hate cops in general,i jus hate the ones who are dicks,when im in my mini most likely i get pulled over everyweek no matter what,im the only mini in my area till u drive down a couple miles.cops have pulled me over and wouldnt let me go till they gave me ticket,and the on ticket they give me is a bs ticket and i take it to court,i have had cops say "i pulled you over to see if you had anything illegal on the truck" im like wtf. ive had a cop see me having problems with my headlights i try and drive home with my high beams and he pulls me over and instead if givin me a fix it ticket he gave me a reg ticket,i kno its his choice but come on,u see me earlier tryin to fix it and then pull me over.but in general i jus hate the ass hole cops.

I don't hate cops but for some reason all the ones I have met lately are dicks..... on or off duty doesn't matter. and i didn't know they're cops until after the fact.

Honestly to me i could care less what kinda of job you do its all about ur additude.

i understand where your coming from. my dad was a cop, and now so is my sister, her husband and alot of our friends are part of the police department. what everyone needs to understand is that our trucks are ILLEGAL no matter how you dice it. 90% of the time (at least where i am) as long as your not doing anything stupid your fine. hell i just got a speeding ticket friday and the cop was cool about it, he just said im just gonna write you for speeding today, the sticker and window tint needs to come off but i dont really write people up for that....and the suspension, were not even gonna get into. he even said as much that he liked the suspension set up back there lol. after all i was speeding...cops have a job to do just like the rest of us.

what kinda bothered me is growing up when people would find out about my dad being a cop, they are like wow, that must have sucked growing up. Wtf? i do everything everyone else does, even cut the hell out of my truck hahaha..
