I looked out front of my office and noticed this guy that looked like Santa Claus pulling up in his '85 Toyota 4x4. First off I noticed some sort of 12' wooden flatbed made out of 2x4's and the little tiny tires (for a 4x4). But then I noticed his home made rear bumper and "custom" hitch. That thing has got to be all of 5 or 6 foot long to clear the flatbed! I guess when it's not in use, he slides it way up under the bed, almost hitting the diff. Now how safe do you think it could be towing anything at all being that long?

He could maybe tow one of those kids power wheels. Unless it's like a 6" thick metal hitch. Hell I've walked into the one on my daily enough times to have dented shin bones. That shit would just kill someone. Forget the hitch, how safe is that fridge standing up like that?? Those are some pimp ass rims though.LOL

You're right, '83. I didn't look at too much other than the bed and hitch. I looked at the front end to see if it had leaf springs just to see if it was actually a 4x, and didn't pay attention to much else. Good eye!

see that crap often in australia. guys "cant find" beds, so they make "custom" flatbeds, ahh so bad.

are those rims old school rare items or a pretty common wheel,
they look like you would see them on a stretched mazda, purple paint and a tandem axle
