cheap guy wants..

i'm a cheap guy, so i want to ask if i can use a single stage (PPG), then scuff and clear, if so, do i need to wait for a flash time or how long??? the thing is i have the base already so i wouldnot have to buy it, then i want to clear so i can dump pearl in the clear.. this will be on a lowrider bike, so there is another reasin not to go nuts with the material prices-- thanks
