what year booster for F-150's?

Does anyone with an F-150 know which Year Ranger or Explorer booster works best for converting from stock?? I have a booster off of an '88 Ranger and it bolts up to the master cylinder and it is ok sized and may work ok with a little bit of pain in butt, but maybe some other one is smaller???
