radiator

im about done with the bdrop but have a prob with my radiator... my lower hose hits the mounting nut/braket for the lower arm torsion thingamabobber. anywayz. i was looking at it and about 6 inches to the left is another identical flat spot ...question. can you cut the part the hose clamps onto and make a new hole then reweld the back on.. ? so that basically the lower hose is now more towards the center? also anyone else having problems with the heater hoses from the motor going to heater core notbeing able to fit?
