ok guys, my truck is body dropped now, but i want to keep a workin a/c. my problem is i know nothin at all about working on an a/c lol. so i have a couple questions
the truck is a 99 sonoma. under the hood in the blower box, what is the part that has the coolent hoses running too it? is it called the evaporator, or heater core? and is there way to remove this and still have cold blowing air, if so, how do i bypss the coolent lines.
2nd, on the a/c ducting thats mounted inside the cab to the firewall there are another set of inlets tht had fluid flowin to it, what is this? and can i remove it and still have cold blowin a/c?
anyone with a body dropped truck knows space is one hell of a factor, but i see people with a/c's in there trucks so i know it can be done... too bad all the ones i talked to had a shop do theres so they have no clue as to how it was saved
thx
