I need to replace the dust boots on my upper A-arms, but I can't get the assembly that bolts to the A-arm and the body mount apart. There are 23mm bolt heads at each end, with small grease fittings in them. Any suggestions? Are they press fit like a ball joint?
Also, my upper ball joints are beat to hell from laying out. The socket is actually slotted and bent. I'm considering shimming the upper joint at an angle or welding an angle into the upper A arm.
