ok heres my dilema, i have a 97 s10 with belltech spindals, and a 83 s10 with DJM. On the 97 i had 18X9 detata boxxer wheels with super low profile tires. I want to run these on my 83 with the DJM spindals, however the rims do not clear the steering linkage connected to the spindals, like they did on the belltechs. I called bothe companies and what i came up with as a result of talking to them is that belltech spindals push your wheels out one inch on each side, thats why they cleared on teh 97 and not the 83. Ok heres where the problem begins, the 83 is body dropped 4 inches, and if i run belltechs on it to correct the problem my wheels will hit the inside of the fender skin, when i lift and lower the truck because of the camber caster. So not wanting to run different rims, i decided that may i should flip the steering linkage to the top side of teh spindal instead of the bottom and notch out my frame for clearance when the truck lays out. So basically my question is has any one done this, and did work out ok, where there any problems, ect, any help would be appreciated, thanks, built to drag
