supercharged or turbo chevy p/u

Have an 88 chevy 2wd 1/2ton p/u with a carbureted 383 stroker with all the engine acc. of the 88, minus all smog control, cannot find info on anything that will work without changing all engine acc. to an older or newer style. Any ifo would be of help.
