Should I sell my truck for a bike?

I recenly visited a friend and he said he's getting a Yahmaha R1. I thought it'd be pretty cool to drive around on a bike, I mean, when I was younger, that was a "past time" for me.

Reasons I should get a bike are things like the insurence is cheaper. The bike would have killer gas milage, and that would help me out a lot! Damn s10 goes about 200 miles per tank. Bikes are fun to ride.

Reasons why it would suck to sell my truck for a bike is that bikes are easy to steal. Bikes, if you get in a wreck, you're screwed. If it rains/snows, I might as well stay home or find a ride. I live in dallas so catching a bus wouldn't be a problem.

I dunno, I really want to get a bike because it's all around cheaper and more versitile. What are you guy's thoughts?
