Air bag noise???

Ok, I hate to turn this into a "neon air bag problem forum" but anyways. I've gotten into my ride the past dozen times or so, and when I lift the air bags almost make like a popping noise. Almost like they are pancaked when they are down and just explode to lift. Is this normal? Does anyone elses make this noise? Is there somethin I can do?

And another thing. When I turn the wheel one way, I think the bag makes a creeking noise. Its nothing mechanical (cv-joint, etc.) its up by the bag. Maybe a strut bushing? Anyone else have this problem as well? Thanks for any help...
