Front X-member 3" drop Q?

ok ok i now alot of post about this topic,thanks 4 the help yall'sss.. but here is my question..

Do you have to just cut the front x-member on each side ,(sterrin box side&linkage side) , can u just sawzall it off and use a jack on each corner to lower it 3" and re weld with filler plates, now any tweaking can happen?? if i am lowering the front x-member,when do u have to cut a section under the lower radiotr hoses if i am lowering it?? not raisn it.. ?? confused ass motherf**er!!! help mazdawgy'ssssss..
