Big Truck wheels

can anyone tell me where and how much is being shaved off big truck wheels to change them from 22.5's and 24.5's down to 22's and 24's? being that i work in the big truck industry, i have a large quantity of wheels and access to a machine shop to do the work. any info on this would be very helpful. thanks
