Any audio experts out there?

I have an idea, but not sure if it would work. I have a hole in my dash for a double din cd player (factory), but a conversion kit for my aftermarket cd player. I also have an in-dash dvd player. I was wondering if there are any suggestions on how to install both devices in the double din hole (w/o conversion kit), and install it correctly. In other words, not just one laying on top of the other. I have a pretty good picture of the dash on my profile. I would post a pic now, but I dont know how. Any suggestions?
