Clear Steering Wheels??

ok, i've been seeing these custom made clear steering wheels in demo/show vehicles. Whether they are acrylic or plexiglass, i have no clue but i do know i've searched from one end to the next on the web for any company or person that makes n sells these.
if anybody has any information,
please let me know - i would appreciate it...
