1998 s10 emissions box and gas tank crossmember ?s

1998 s10 extended cab,im bagging my truck but i have that ungodly bulky emissions control box under the bed i relocated it,but would like to remove it all together is this possible,and then the gas tank crossmember hits my drive line when i try to layout the back can this be cut,or is there a notch made for it,any pics or info on this stuf would be much appreciated,thanks jeff
