Will my civic lay out?

I'm in the middle of putting cylinders in my 98 civic, and I was wondering since my buddy brought it up, Will it lay out on 17's? If not what do I have to do??s far as modifing and or running smaller wheels? Just wondering before I get to far, I refuse to bring the car out till it lays out or is really close. Thanks in advance for any help.
