Done extensive searching on here and didn't locate any topics under this. I'm in process of doing a stock floor body drop on a fullsize xcab chevy, and soon on my dakota quad cab. Just wondering with the floor like SUPER close to the exhaust, and long road trips, anyone have problem of floors heating up bad, or possibly fire? Just curious what to use for heat sheilds or suggestions to keep the heat out of the floor with the exhaust damn near rubbing the floor boards!!!???
