I committed suicide last week.

been a tiring ass two weekends. about three and a half days invested(after spending half a sunday running around looking for unimix). Got rid of the third brake light, did the full window conversion(all new parts), and suicided the driver side door. also put in a handle up front, inside and outside locks and handles work. cut down the tall door panel to work as a shorty, and moved the lock lump thingy at the top of the door to the front. thorbeck(sp) hinges, everything else is stock. anyway, heres pics.

That looks really clean. Do you have any pics of how you attatched the inner handle to the latch?

damn that does look bad ass....i wanted to suicide a truck and move the handles up to the front like that as well...looks like you beat me to it...its the first time ive ever seen it done. looks good very clean!

in my opinion i would;ve left the handle off , it looks funny to me , but its differant and its your truck , the work looks awesome overall!

thanks for compliments, no pics behind the panel, the outside lock and handle rod are almost stock, the inside rods had to be heavily modified. the handle is pass side and so is the piece of the door its mounted to. outside handle and latch are also passenger side. i know i'm gonna catch hell from someone about the outside handle, but i'm kinda goin for a "what stock coulda been" on this one. but i like it, its not seen much right there. i still need to make the dome light work and also need to do the other door...
i've bagged atleast 15 trucks and cars, body dropped two cabs and four beds(one to the doors), shaved an assload of stuff, but this is the hardest thing i've done yet. geometry aint my thing. cant wait to do the other one

we put those in my friends maz a couple years ago. stock location though. those are badass handles.

I know I was gonna pop them in the front of the doors when I suicided it......lol why you think no more pics have poped up with my truck Im in the buying process and collection of parts......he he he
