Cover my dash or paint it?

So here is the deal. I want a little more color inside the truck but I have red leather inserts in my seats and on my door panels. I am afraid that if I paint the dash and other plastic panels red like my truck the shiny red and the red leather that I have used so far will not be a good contrast. I really want to keep red and black on the inside so I was thinking of covering the dash in Red and covering other pieces with red and black. So what do you think Paint or cover?
