Ok everyone,
I need some help in finding a chrome wheel cleaner. But first, how do you tell if your wheels are clearcoated? I am pretty sure mine are not, but there should be an easy way to tell.
The reason for all this is, I have a set of twinkes on my 2002 Rodeo, and I wash them wish soap and water WEEKLY, and it seems that everywhere that is facing out and flat is fine, but grooves, and the back part of the dish are becoming hazy / collecting brake dust.
I tried using mothers chrome polish, and it did not phase this stuff. I paid a great deal for these wheels and I need to know if they are basically screwed and need replacing or if I can clean / protect them with some GOOD SAFE chrome wheel cleaner...
So on that note, does anyone know of any chrome wheel cleaners that work good? Does anyone else have this problem on chrome wheels?
Thanks!
