What do you guys think about lifting a 2wd?

What do you guys think about lifting a 2wd? I am thinking about buyin another truck just the same as the one I own know and liftin it as big as my buddies Tahoe thats on my profile. He has a 2wd and has about 18in of lift runnin 44s. I was wantin to lift a single cab like mine the same height so I can have one thats high and one thats bagged. Whats yalls guys opinion on liftin a 2wd. Even if it was a 4wd I wouldnt take it offroad. Strictly for looks.
