Advice on Air ride

I have been told by numerous people that cans wont fit in my car. I was told the the PacPhearson Strut bags are the only thing thatll for into my malibu. Does anyone know what is going to work and if i am able to use cans, will it take my car to low to where it will be smashing my kit???
