this is my first attempt, im happy with it except it isnt freehand, i drew out the design on the wood before hand and then striped it. the design is one i came up with and i am pretty proud of it. anyone else on herer pinstrip that can give me some hints or different techniques?

i just got a pinstripe brush last week so far all i can do is some freehand flames. straight lines are a biotch

your doing it right, alot of guys that pinstripe and/or airbrush designs will draw it lightly in pencil first before paint.... i have seen it done several times.

I'm looking to pick this up soon. There are some good videos out there. Check out this forum, do some reading, it will help.

And if you have questions, thats a damn good place to ask.

I never post there, but I always read up when I'm bored. I want to order a starter kit with a few different colors to start with, just havent done it yet.

yeah that is kewl.. my dad back in the days when he was my age (27) was a bad ass pinstryper... he still has alot of his brushes, and his small little airbrush tools..

that site is amazing. i went on ebay and bought a pack of five small one shot paint and three brushes for a total around $50
