plain look or wings,decals?

Which do you prefer, the sleeper look of pre 1968 pony and muscle cars, or the extrovert body add ons, swoopy styling and decals of later versions? I think I prefer the boldness of the later cars. Sure horsepower was on the decline as the cars got fancier but they did look exciting.
