Attn: A/C Mechanics or anyone who knows A/C

I tried using my A/C for the 1st time this year, and I can hear the air coming into the cab, but it isn't blowing through the vents.Also, the A/C comp. keeps cycling on and off repeatedly. Does this mean the comp. is gone out? Any help would be greatly appreciated
