I lowered my truck even more! tell me what you guys think??




the ride not all that great of ride quality the axel is hitting the frame. Well this is the reason why my truck is lowered n the axel is hittin my frame!






well how i got this motor for free! from a guy at the in foresthill parting his yota all the motor has a bad headgasket n thats about it! my plans are gettin O/S valves n regrinded cams, head job, remod the intake manifold, n try to see if i could put twins on her! great lil project n reading alot on how to make you own custom turbo kits! im readin Maximum boost by corkey bell! this book has alot of info! i would recommend this book to anyone tryin to build there own turbo or lookin to buy a turbo car! tell me what you gusy think?

those toyota 6-cyl. motors are notorious for blowing head gaskets. thats typically the reason why they blow up... looks like an awesome project you got there...ive read up on turbo's myself. there is a lot of work and matenance with them...too much for a daily.

its a 3vz-e, yea i know about the head gasket but with better headbolts heads n cams should in theory not have the head gasket problem in the #6 cyclinder. but as for the turbo yea i know its gonna be hard hey its worth a try. but once i get my wheeler my truck is not gonna be my daily driver!

Yea the 3.0 and the 3.4 both have recalls on the head gaskets the 3.0 is called the V06 recall and the 3.4 is the X01 i think It is an unlimited milage recall so you might be able to con a dealership out of some head gaskets. Its worth a shot.

yea man maybe if i had the vin but i dont think they would take a engine out of a truck thou! but hopefully i will get things going pretty soon i just need to get a mig welder n pipe bender to start on the newly designed intake mainfold , n turbo exhaust!

Well yesterday i took the whole wiring harness, intake manifold off! its was really easy but i was suprized on how toyota change the 92 3vz-e from my 89 3vz-e! but anywayz now all im left with how to take off the cam gears n also i know i have to take out the distributor but do i have to mark it to still keep everything still timed together??? well here are the pics

well here are a couple of designs i came up with to suit my needs, i no theres alot of things missing. its just a rough draft. I also had a question do i need to include the egr valve or reed valve? by excluding them would that doing anything to the motor besides the emissions?

well this what i did today i got the cam gears off, the fuel rail n the lower intake off! here are some of the pics






Also had a question on how this cam looks! now i know the right cam shaft is not suppost to have this big crater in it! would it still be fine or should i get another one?

i would get another one man because it could cause big problems down the road and plus you already have it torn apart
