Ok this is gonna be long & complicated, but I REALLY need some help...
The back end of my car is 4" EAI cylinders. When I air out the back the rear wheels camber like crazy & the lower cylinder mounts bent too, eventually snapping off the cylinder post @ the threads. so I got a guy who welded the cylinder posts to the lower mounts, which solved the problem for a while. Now tho I'm noticing that my left rear wheel is cambered more and more, and now I see that the lower weld this guy did is bending, I figure I have another week before the tire is rubbing the side of the cylinder. I need to fix this problem ASAP
What I was thinking is, on the lower mount there are 2 big bolts that hold the cylinder to the A-arm, if I pull one of the bolts the other will act as a pivot point and the metal won't bend anymore, but there also won't really be anything holding the tire straight...in addition to that I'm not sure about the 1 bolt holding up the weight of the back end...
anyone got any ideas? my friend clayton told me to take it to a different welder and have him reinforce the existing weld till I can sell the beast (its for sale ), any other input?? any and all help is appreciated
