anyone ever tried this??

Well, I took out all of my rear interior today(cab plus mazda) and you know where there is the big plate for a speaker? Has anyone ever tried to put a 8" or 10" sub in there with an extremely shallow box? Im gonna try to put an infinity sub in there tomorrow or the next day, and I was just curious. It seems as if it would fit... but im not sure. But if this works you could put two tens (one on each side) and not have them visible nor lose any seating. Anyone tried to do this?
