6" and 8" drop on a 98 Dakota

I have a 1998 Dakota now with a 2" and 4" inch drop on it which i did like 5 years ago, Now I have found some control arms for the front that will give me another 4 inch drop and then i can block the rear for another four inch also, I have not really looked underneath in a while and am wondering if anyone know if I need to notch anything under there to make this work??
