Bad Day

Last wendsday I was takin the truck down to my paint to get the last buff done after all the assm was done and the damn spring for my hood latch broke and my hood went thought the windshield. I finaly got some pics. And the est from him to fix it 3500.00 thank god for insurance. It ends up needing both hinges, fixing the hood, fixing the cowl,fixing the dash, a windshield, and a bunch of paint work. O by the way did I say I hate unlimited products hood if I had not had to cut the safty catch off my latch cause there is no place for it in the hood I would not have this problem right now

i would love to sho some sympathy, but dont you think using the hood with out the safety catch?

Beleave me if there was a way to keep it it would be there I even tried useing a differant one that bolts to the hood and just could not make it work

Can you run a stock hood? Maybe cowl it if thats the look you're after?

Show Down Accessories hoods use all the stock hardware, including the safety latch.
