Corner's into Blinker's?

Can this be done? Can you just splice off the connector's and switch them around and turn the corner light's into the blinker's?Because there is a sweet ass bright set of fog light's rated at 60,000 candle's (big number's makes me happy) and they will fit in the blinker slot's. I just need to know if corner blinker's can be done,
