ok.. im in the middle of a heated discussion where neither side really know what they are talking about... VIN (vehicle identification number) .... is it or is it not on the frame of the truck?.. i know that a sport bike has it on the frame and the stearing head and engine case... and i know (in this arguement its a toyota tacoma) its on the engine and im told the doors and sometimes windows and appearently 10,000 other places (dont ask...) but is it on the frame? i dont think that it would be in 10 million places cause if u went to the junk yard and got say.. a door... and put it on you wouldnt have to change the vin in the door... thats even if u COULD change it... thx for any help at putting this stupid yet very heated arguement to rest....
