Headlights??????

ok here is my problem, i have turn signals, brake lights, but my headlights and my auxilary lights do not work. i have checked all wiring and bulbs but i still cannot find the problem. has anybody had this happen before? any information would be wonderfull even if it is obvious stuff just incase i missed one stupid little thing. thankyou
