Legal in AZ???

I just got a pair of flush mount led's for the sentra but now I don't know if I want them in the trunk lid as originally planned. My question is, does anyone in AZ know if it's legal for me to mount them in my rear window??? I was thinking about making housings for them and cutting out the tint on the bottom of the rear window and putting them in there. I've searched a little but haven't come up with much so any help would be great.
