ok, so i'm in the process of unibodydropping my maxima and ive got a hitch. i'm working on the rear suspension, its a strut setup but with 2 lower control arms and a lateral arm. i had to shorten the lower arms so the tire wouldnt hit my 1/4 when lifted, which moved all the suspension in an inch, no biggie, but as soon as it goes lower than it used to, it moves in about 3-4 inches, putting alot of stress on the lateral arm, twisting it. right now its all got regular urethane bushings, but i need something that is going to move side to side alot. the only thing i can think of is heim joints, but ive heard bac things about them. the car's not a dailiy driver, so i dont have to worry about noise or what not, but i'm afraid theyll wear out quick. any other suggestions? i have hydraulics, 12inch cylinders in the rear, with a powerball on top so it doesnt snap the bolt. i'm making new strut towers out of 3/16 and 1/4 inch plate so itll be strong. thanks, juan
