Modified Vehicle Insurance

I know some of you have extra insurance on your rides. What are some companies that insure modified vehicles. My Allstate agent will not give me additional coverage. I showed him an appraisal, and he threaten to cancel my insurance because it appraised at that value. I'm thinking about Allstate, just need to know what companies will insure modified vehicles..
