3 link with bags on the bars

I drive a 99 s10 reg cab and I am planning to bag it soon but want to know if how i wan to do it will work. I want to run a forward 3 link with square lower bars with the bags mounted on the lower bars. Im thinking it will work but would like some more opinions on whether I will have problems with it or not. Thanks.
