suicide doors?

Ok, I got a question on doing suicide doors. I was talking to a freind of mine the other night and was telling me a couple thing he had heard about them after they're installed. "Rumors" of like the doors opening on the interstate at random? Or not locking and popping open just on the street. I'm almost ready to do this mod but if this kinda stuff does happen I don't want to do it! Anyone ever heard of anything like this or even happening to them? Sorry for the novel but it got me wondering!
