what all needs changed engine wise 2000-2600

just curious what are advantages, from a motor swap of a 2000 to a 2600, cause one of my friends knows where i can get a 2600 engine.

so is there any advantages?what all needs changed inorder to pass smog?thankz guyz ahead of time.
