guys, I have a w710 and I am planning out my fiberglass box for it. right now its inside the JL built box with the red oval opening. Just looking for something to make the interior of the car stand out. I am going to make the enclosure look like a jet engine. here is my question. I know after I make the enclose that I can use packing peanuts to determine out much air space is int he box. but what I need to know is how to decide how much air space I need for this sub to operate at its most optimum level. Its going to be a sealed enclosure. I am going to make it in two sections I think. the top half will be the part that looks like a jet engine. and the mottom will fall down in to the spare tire compartment and be hidden when the trunk is flashed in. from quick measure ments I will probably have about 4 cubic feet of space available. will this be enough to runt he sub? Also its a RF1000bd amp that its running on 4 guage power wire. I can upgrade this if needed to get better power but its seems to hit just fine right now. Look forward to hearing what every one says.
