ok the past 2 days my truck has been laying out within no lie an hour from 160 psi. i couldnt hear or see and leaks with soapy water but i did hear this... my compressor on the left frame rail was whining real high pitched like a dog whistle to a dog but obviously i could hear it. do viair 450's have check valves and if so, could mine finally be shot after 3 years?? when the tank is at 0 psi, they both work fine but after about 100 psi, one of them almost dims my headlights as if they were off just before blowing a 60 amp fuse, to me it seems like when it gets to a certain psi the compressor cannot push anymore air into the tank cause its pushing back into the compressor. does this make sense??? what can i do, is my compressor garbage, does it need a rebuild. this is my daily driver i need suggestions quick on a easy fix. thanks for any help
