I know there is a post about this already but it makes no sence to me. I bought a relay and this is what it says.
87/87--Power to lamps86-- switching means30-- fused power from battery85-- ground----------------------------------now what I read in the posts was
"86 from switch or pressure switch, 87 constant 12volt from battery, 85 ground, and 30 out to hot wire on compressor"
which one do I follow?I made this in paint to help me understand!!!

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME UNDERSTAND THIS. I WANT TO DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.I AM USING 4 GAUGE POWER WIRE TO THE RELAY. DO I HAVE TO RUN 4 GAUGE ALL THE WAY THROUGH. USING A 30 AMP GENARIC RELAY AND GENARIC TOGGEL SWITCH AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT KIND OF PRESSURE SWITCH, COMPRESSOR IS VIAIR 550. IF YOU NEED MORE INFO LET ME KNOW.
