Getting correct pinion angle on S10...?

Im wondering what the angle's supposed to be at, is the hog head supposed to be 'parallel' with the drive shaft, i have all of my back suspension torn down so i have nothing for a reference, do i just rotate the axle when its laid out and get the head of the axle parallel with the ground then bolt the driveshaft up?
