Underside of truck bed question.

I just purchase a used 4x4 bed for my 1992 Mazda B2600i from a junkyard. I have cleaned all the crap off of it. The problem is that the original color is red. The future color of the truck is going to be white. Does anyone have any recommendations on what to do to the underside of the bed to make it more uniform?
