i have a 98 4 door accord ex, 5 speed, 70,000 miles.
it feels like the front left wheel is shaking, it only does it sometimes, and especially if i turn a little, like if im on an off ramp on the freeway... the cv axles are fine, the wheel bearings are fine, and the bushings are fine. the honda dealership told me that they think it is the differential in the tranny going bad, because there were a few (3) metal shavings in the filter they drained the tranny through.
i hope like hell someone can help me with this, they want 2500 dollars to swap a new tranny in. a friend of mine told me that when his clutch went out, it shook, but he didnt say if it was all the time or not, just that when he pulled the tranny, the clutch about fell to pieces.
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME FIND OUT WHAT IS WRONG.
