I am looking for help from anyone who can or has experience...I am bagging/cutting up my new toy. Its a 97 Firebird. The back is going to be no problem (solid axle), but the front I see problems. My goal is to tuck a set of 20's which I already have. But now I have to choose:
1) Buy a prefabricated air strut kit for over 900$ which is just bolt on. -Problem- What kind of drop will I get? I want to lay the front out. Is it worth that much?
2) Fabricate my own airstruts. -Problem- My suspension/camber angles my not be exact leading to poor tread wear, and the bags look like they will not measure out to fit between the 20's and frame. Looks like a pain in the ass.
3) Aircans. -Problem- I hear the ride sucks, and they leak like a freshman girl in H.S.
Any ideas, suggestions, or comments are greatly appreciated, I really am looking for some direction before I break out the power tools . Thanks, Tito
