arite on my reg cab 93 toy i have a 4.5 inch wall of china along with a 4 inch chop top which leaves me little to no room to fit in the thing...well i have a mazda rx7 rear end waiting to go in it..im gettin a new rear clip from
larry@ias...and im thinking...as long as im doing the whole new rear clip..how hard can it be to stock floor it and get some room back...im gonna pull the cab off when i do the rear so what im wondering if i got the right idea on how to do this....im going to either cut the top or the inside of the rail out and put 2.5 square tubing inside..trim off the top..cap it off..and drop the cab mounts..and i know i gotta redo my trans xmember..and ill have to cut out and rebuild my floor..which isnt a big deal..but is my idea on the frame correct? is 2.5x2.5x1/4 thickness ok for this?
